I.O. is the solo project of singer/songwriter/cellist Isidora O’Ryan.

Born in Chile, conservatory-schooled musician, she has been

experimenting with different styles and genres for over a decade.

The project made its debut in 2018, bringing a fresh sound imprint

mixing electronic and classical sounds, all around her voice, her cello and

deeply evocative lyrics.

After the release of five singles, with important guests such as Fernando Milagros, on March 2020 her first album Ciénaga hits the streaming platforms with great reception of the audience and the specialized media.  The album was considered among the best releases in 2020 by the renowned MusicaPopular.cl and placed I.O. on a select group of promising projects of chilean independent music. 

The album, produced by Andrés Abrazúa and Jim Hast, delivers an original mix of sounds, dwelling between chamber arrangements, electronic beats, electro-pop and indie-folk.

In December 2020 she released Ciénaga Remix in collaboration with 10 different producers, such as Entrópica, Pol del Sur, Jim Hast, Nico Rosenberg, Enrique Vela, and others.

Recently released "Sanjerónimo"
the first advance of her next record material that will be released on September of the present year.

I.O. was awarded in the Best New Artist (Artista Revelación) category at Premios Indigo 2020.
